About Us

Why are so many of us either reluctant or simply not mindful of asking people if they know Jesus? We post scripture on social media. We use religious vernacular. We occasionally refer to our church in conversation. We solicit and offer prayer, and we advertise all the ways in which we’re “blessed.” But, like me, many Christians aren’t pulling their spiritual weight, so to speak, to reach beyond friends and family to talk about our Lord and sin and salvation. Separate from those of us who are “evangelically challenged,” there are others who ARE eager to share but they have little to no opportunity to do so. Between us and them, there’s a whole lot of good news not making the presses and an army of disciples NOT being made. My personal neglect has resulted in a sea of unclaimed grace. It’s a direct contradiction for us as Christians to affirm that we know Jesus and to acknowledge His sacrifice, and then to disobey His directive to introduce others to HIM. Providentially, God causes His purpose and His will to transpire whether we do our part or not, but that isn’t an absolution considering that we - specifically I, will be held accountable for my indifference toward people in need of a Savior. It weighs heavily on me at this late hour.

In 2011, God convicted me of my habitual failure in sharing my faith. I am an RN and at that time, I was working in an environment inundated with people who were sick, disabled, confused, and with little to no income. They were unable to pay for essentials, including safe, clean housing, medication, and even food adequate in amount or nutrition. Even more gut wrenching was the number of them without consistent, compassionate caregivers. So many helpless, often hopeless people with enormous physical, emotional, financial and spiritual needs and zero possibility of those needs being met. These people, like all people, desperately need to hear about God and His Word. They need to know that regardless of how people have made them feel, they DO have value. They need to know that regardless of their status in this fallen world, they aren’t forgotten and discarded by God. They need to hear that He loves them, that it’s never too late to profess trust and faith in Him, and that all of life’s wrongs will be righted very, very soon. These needs are painfully real, but so are their financial needs. So...

When is a T-Shirt not “just a t-shirt?”

It was during that season of my life that putting scripture on T-shirts occurred to me: #1) to put as many profound, encouraging and convicting chunks of God’s Word in front of as many people as possible to provoke thoughts and start conversations #2) to create a source of income specifically for people in need and to further evangelism and Kingdom efforts, and #3) to be a resource for individuals, schools, churches and missions, needing to raise funds. In 2011, I drew my first design: Psalm 119:11, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”

The simple act of wearing scripture on my clothes isn’t the fix for years of apathetic silence, but it’s a healthy start. T-shirts give us a platform to proclaim our love for Him, to provoke thoughts and stoke the fires of curiosity from people who see them, and they can provide just the right ‘ice breaker’ to start a conversation that may help grow the Kingdom.

My hope is that this apparel will be worn by people who believe God’s infallible Word and seen by people who need God’s infallible word. So, all people. I hope it sparks truth and hope, belief and repentance in everyone who reads and considers it.
